At Happy Scales & Tails Exotics, we strive to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. Our return policy applies to both in-store and online purchases, providing a consistent experience across our retail and web platforms.

1. Live Animal Sales

All sales of live animals are final.

We take great care to ensure the health and well-being of every animal before it leaves our facility. Once an animal has been purchased and leaves our care, we cannot accept returns or exchanges due to biosecurity, stress, and health risks to both the animal and our existing collection.

If you experience any issues within 48 hours of purchase, please contact us immediately. We may offer support, guidance, or an exchange at our discretion if a verifiable health concern is determined to have originated before the sale.

2. Dry Goods, Supplies, and Merchandise

Most non-live items such as dry goods, supplies, décor, and merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase, provided the following conditions are met:

We will provide a replacement or issue store credit once the item is inspected and verified. For online purchases, we may request photos of the item and packaging to expedite processing.

4. Special Orders and Custom Items

All special orders, custom enclosures, and 3D-printed products are non-refundable once the order has been placed. If a manufacturing issue occurs, we will make every effort to correct it or offer a replacement.

5. In-Store and Online Integration

Because our website and store POS system are fully integrated, purchases made in-store or online can be managed seamlessly:
